Jasper came to us in October 2020. Sadly, he had a severe reaction to a vaccination he received in the shelter before he came to us, which resulted in a condition called "blue eye phenomenon." While it doesn't sound bad, it has caused him to lose his vision in his right eye and experience painful swelling and inflammation.

After numerous consultations with a Veterinary Ophthalmologist and several different courses of treatment, the doctor's recommendation was to remove Jasper's eye to prevent further recurrence. Jasper is an otherwise happy, healthy puppy and we have no doubt that he will quickly learn to live with one eye.
