Just want to tell you Buster’s story!  He came into the rescue program over this past summer at 6 months old.  About 2 weeks later, Buster became very ill.  He had a stomach lining issue.  We thought at one point that he was going to have to be put down, but the rescue wanted to do as much testing as we can to get results to show us how to proceed.  His life threatening results were negative!  With a lot of trial and error, we finally were able to stabilize him with the right medications and a lot of love.  He’s doing 100% better now. If Buster was in a shelter, he might not be with us today.  Buster has been in a foster home through this whole experience.  His third ultrasound came back CLEAR!!!! So we are thrilled to say that Buster is now ready for his forever home. 

Buster should continue to stay on his diet of Purina ProPlan EN- for gastro.  Even though he is fine now, we believe it is best for Buster to stay on his current diet.  The vet provides this type of food and is similar price to quality dog foods at the stores.  He is also on 1 medication, Tylan, given at meal time and a probiotic.  Tylan is inexpensive.  We don’t give hime table food.

Buster is an amazing dog.  He’s so loving.  He is house trained, loves dogs and is fantastic with children as well a adults:)  He listens to commands and is very laid back.  Buster loves to be outside and enjoys his walks.  He’s a sunbather:)
